Some comments from recent clients....
Hi Steve, just a quick note to say many thanks for the one day Dog Photography workshop I attended with you in May 2018. A very professional coaching day that clarified existing knowledge but more important expanded on new ideas and settings for me to use going forward. Once again many thanks and would recommend these workshops to anyone looking to understand more about the technical requirements for dog photography. Regards Stuart.

I would highly recommend the dog photography workshop with Steven. He was patient, knowledgeable and clearly enjoys helping you improve. He taught me about my camera, how to use shutter speeds and white balance to create stunning photos. I’m really pleased with how a couple of the shots I took have turned out. I’ll keep practising! Thank you Steven.

Michelle Hughes, Loughborough

Steven did an amazing job of capturing some beautiful images of Zaci my 2 year old ridgeback. The wonderful portrait shots demonstrate all of his natural strength, personality and beauty without appearing posed or rigid. We also have some beautiful images which clearly show the wonderful friendship that exists between my daughter and Zac - a picture for her to treasure as she grows up.
Thanks Steven

I joined Steven and his 3 gorgeous German Shepherds for the photo workshop on 12 Nov. I wondered if I was mad when my alarm went off at 6am & I started the trek from London. Well it was 100% worth it! Not only is Steven a patient & encouraging teacher, he is also an excellent dog trainer. I learned tips about dog interaction as well as focusing, picking the best shutter speed & recognising lighting. I have a great selection of shots that I’m proud of from the day
The 3 dogs are so well behaved as well as being massive cuddle bears who will sit patiently while you try to get your perfect shot then photobomb you with no shame They love their day out & so you get wonderful shots of natural behaviour. Steven doesn’t do posing or use treats to get them to comply, so it’s great practice at just “being” with the dogs & capturing their best moments.
All in all it was so good I suspect I may find myself heading back towards them at 6am one of these days!

“Steven came to take photos of my two old boys and he captured some truly stunning photos that were totally natural. These will be treasured.”

Lynn Drinkwater, Polesworth, Staffordshire

“Excellent from start to finish! Apollo and I were relaxed throughout the whole experience. Not only were we able to get some incredible shots, my dog was able to enjoy himself, which made for some gorgeous pictures! I would highly recommend Havers Dog Photography to anyone. Steve is a natural with dogs and the camera. The photos along with the memory of the day is something we’ll always treasure. Thank you very much once again”

Kim Broadway, Barwell, Leicestershire

“I highly recommend booking a photo shoot. Steve has effortlessly captured Amber’s physical beauty but also her character and spirit. Despite being very photogenic she is no poser; especially when out on a walk investigating the world.
Steve joined us on a regular walk through the village on a dull wet day - not that you can tell from the outstanding pictures! We walked, he snapped away all very relaxed and good fun.
A wonderful present idea for someone who has everything in life, including a dog!”

Claire Timms, Leicester

“I booked a photo shoot with Steve on what turned out to be a miserable, grey, wet day. The photos he took of my 4 Rhodesian Ridgebacks are amazing. To say the weather was shocking, the quality of the photos are superb and he has managed to capture my dogs in natural surroundings beautifully. Thank you Steve. I have some framing to do now!”

Sarah Gleeson, East Leake, Nottinghamshire

“Steven was brilliant from start to finish he made both my partner and I comfortable and really took the time to understand what we wanted and made Doug feel completely at ease which in turn made some absolutely stunning photos of our boy! If your looking for professional and quality photos look no further. The whole experience was amazing.”
